Located in Xiazhuang Street, the Nanhu Green Exhibition Garden Scenic Area consists of two parts: Nanhu Lake and the Green Exhibition Garden. Nanhu Lake has a circumference of 5.2 kilometers and a water area of 136 hectares. It includes the City Story Art Exhibition Area, the Water Street Leisure and Commercial Area, the Family Leisure and Entertainment Sports Area, the Wetland Ecological Experience Area, and the High-end Business Leisure Area.
The northern part of Green Exhibition Garden covers an area of 862 mu and follows the core planning concept of "one axis, three rings, nine areas, and eighteen scenic spots." It brings together 48 different types of gardens from 31 provinces, municipalities, and districts nationwide, as well as relevant units. The gardens are divided into six major themes: a fusion of Chinese and Western styles, a representation of contemporary trends, folk customs, picturesque landscapes, the beauty of the Jiangnan region, and a display of ancient charm and grandeur.
